Well we as people have opinions we stand up for, many may not agree but we look past it. Yet when someone of importance takes a stand it's an issue so we see them as Stubborn.

Patronage means the support given by a patron.
Sovereign a supreme ruler, especially a monarch.

Meaning we as people should support the kings and queens that we are no matter what people say or think.
